All aboard for an array autumnal abundance! We hope you enjoy this week’s selections. While we don’t grow sweet potatoes, mushrooms, and butternut squash ourselves, some of our favorite local (and USDA certified organic) growers do! Your sweet potatoes and squash are from Land’s End Farm in Chestertown and, as usual, the mushrooms are from Mother Earth in Landenberg, PA. You will find a mix of shiitake and baby bella (AKA crimini) mushrooms in your share. Sweet potatoes and butternut squash prefer to be stored between 55-60 degrees Fahrenheit, so look for them in addition to your box. If you pick up at the garden center, they will be in the farmstand. At other CSA pickup locations, we will stash them nearby.
