Happy Week 6 of the Fall CSA!

Wow! It is hard to believe the Fall CSA is more than half way over. These shorter, ten week seasons really fly by. If you love local leafy greens and beautiful root veggies in the middle of winter, now would be a good time to secure your share of the Winter CSA season. The winter season is also ten weeks long, and runs from 12/4/19-2/5/20. Our growing space is most limited in the winter months, so we only have so many CSA shares to offer. Grab yours today! Don’t forget, sign up before December 1st for 10% off any 2020 CSA shares purchased.

Ok, now, let’s talk about carrots! These little beauties are one of our new favorite varieties, an early producer called ‘Mokum’, and are extraordinarily sweet. We would advocate that you skip peeling them (so fresh and tender!), and you could probably skip cooking them, too — they’re delicious as is!
Whatever you do with your share this week, we hope you enjoy it, and sincerely appreciate your support of our small (but mighty) family farm!
