Use first (will keep about a week): snap peas (they’ll keep longer, but are best when fresh!), red leaf lettuce
Store a little longer (about 2 weeks): everything else!

While your produce is super fresh, it has not been washed! Please take care to always wash your vegetables well before enjoying.

It’s a lettuce extravaganza! A great time of year for salads, enjoy the bounty of our spring lettuce crop. These varieties work well mixed together, or you can find recipes specific to each kind of lettuce (Frisee salad with Roasted Beets, anyone? )

Your sugar snap peas are entirely edible, pod and all. They make a great snack raw and dipped in hummus, or on their own.

If you’re cringing at the though of salads for every meal, you might want to try sneaking some lettuce into your next healthy smoothie! This Berry Lettuce Smoothie recipe will help get you started.

However you slice it, we hope you enjoy your share this week! Strawberries peaked last week and our daily harvest is dwindling. They are still available for purchase through our farmstand if you just didn’t have enough, yet!
