Clockwise, from upper left: Buttercrunch lettuce, hakurei turnips, kohl rabi, joi choi, sweet potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, daikon radish, curly kale (large share pictured).

Use first (will keep about a week): lettuce, mushrooms
Store a little longer (about 2 weeks): joi choi, kale
Store very well (a month or more): turnips, kohl rabi, carrots, radishes, sweet potatoes

While your produce is super fresh, it has not been washed! Please take care to always wash your vegetables well before enjoying.

Happy Week 8 of the Winter CSA! With just ten weeks in this season, we are more than halfway through. Have you purchased your spring share yet? CSA purchases this time of year are immensely helpful in preparing for spring. Pre-season can be one of the most expensive times for farmers who need to purchase seed, fertilizer, and supplies for the upcoming season — in spite of winter cash flow being a fraction of what it is in the high season. In fact, this friction is what lead to the birth of the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) model! Sign up here.

Your support is greatly appreciated, year round!
